About Us

NutrasInsights reviews nutraceuticals by checking label doses against the published research — no cure claims, no scores that hide the caveats.

Last updated: September 5, 2026

NutrasInsights reviews nutraceuticals — vitamins, herbal blends, and single-ingredient supplements sold directly to consumers online. We started this site because most review sites in this space either repeat the vendor's sales page verbatim or run a generic star rating with no visible methodology behind it. Neither tells a reader whether the dose on the label actually matches the dose used in the studies the vendor cites.

What we actually do

For every product we cover, we read the manufacturer's own sales page and label claims, then check each cited or implied efficacy claim against the peer-reviewed literature — usually PubMed. When a product uses a proprietary blend that hides individual ingredient doses, we say so plainly. When the label dose falls short of the dose used in the research behind an ingredient, we say that too. See How We Evaluate for the full rubric.

What we don't do

We don't publish cure, treatment, or disease claims — ours or the vendor's repeated as fact. We don't publish a numeric star rating anywhere on the site (see How We Evaluate for why). And we don't let a product's affiliate program determine whether it gets covered or how it's rated — see our Editorial Policy and Affiliate Disclosure.

Who writes for us

Each department on the site — Sleep & Relaxation, Cognitive Health, Joint & Mobility, Gut & Digestive Health, Energy & Vitality, Weight Management, Beauty & Skin — has a staff editor who covers it. Every review is attributed to a named author with their own profile page describing their focus area. Browse our reviews to see their work.
